Atalaya Golf was designed by Herr Van Limburguer and it was opened in 1966. It is a fairly easy course though a very good one, what makes it perfect for non experts. It is located between Marbella and Estepona and affords lovely views over the sea. It also has a training course, the biggest one in Spain. All its holes are lined up with trees -eucalyptus and pine trees- and it is an excellent course to practise in. Its fairways are wide and quite flat. Its greens are sharply contoured and quick. The clubhouse was built simulating a Swiss house.
