El Paraíso, between Marbella and Estepona, shares with the other golf courses in the area the exceptional weather and its exclusive place. The course was designed by Gary Player and Kirby and it was initially boosted by the Belgian community which moved from Zaire to the Costa del Sol. The course design has been adjusted to the hill where it is located -a downhill slope towards the sea. Though it seems an easy course thanks to its wide fairways, you have to take care with the roughs, sometimes hidding streams making it quite easy to fall into the trap.
