DESCRIPTION:
Estepona Golf is located only 2 km away from the city of Estepona. It was opened in 1991. The designer was Jose Luis López Martínez, who adjusted the course to the rolling land. It is a fairly short course but its challenging layout -going up and down all the way- make the round quite hard, specially for people who don't like walking.
It was necessary to build short and narrow fairways in order to fulfill the designer's wish of keeping the undulating hills. Players require then a highly accurated technique. The course is not very suitable for hitters. Palm trees, eucalyptus and wild olive trees has been planted all over the course.
