Ronda Festivals
May Fair.- Agricultural and farming fair, with exposure of livestock breeds, dressage competition cowboy and Spanish thoroughbred horses, oil tasting, quiz shows etc dog. It is held in the second half of May.
Easter Week.- Of great popular tradition, preserves the traditions from their beginnings in the XVI century, processions are very striking and offers pictures of great artistic value.
Pedro Romero Fair.- It is the most international festival of Ronda, held from 8th to 10th September, with the Festival de Cante, contest run hooks and famous bullfighting goyescas, with the most important figures of bullfighting.
Corpus Chiquito.- It is celebrated for three days in the first week of June, a façade beautification contest takes place, it has festivals, parades, plays, etc.
Procession of the Virgen de la Cabeza.- Held the second Sunday of June, people from Ronda take in procession the image of the Virgin, from the collegiate to the chapel, to be returned in the evening, the Church of St. Mary of the Incarnation which is venerated throughout the year.
