Location
Ronda is a municipality in the province of Malaga, the capital of the region of the Serrania of Ronda, situated in a basin surrounded by mountains of medium altitude, the city is on a plateau divided in two by a gorge about 100 meters deep, the famous Tajo de Ronda, which passes Guadalevin. It is located about 110kms away from Malaga and 57kms from Marbella, it has a population of over 37,000 inhabitants spread over an area of 481km2.

Weather
In the Serrania of Ronda the climate is well-defined, hot Summers and cold Winters, Spring and Autumn are seasons where the temperatures are mild. Rainfalls are usually abundant, as it is registered that the place with higher rate of rainfall in Spain is in the Sierra of Grazalema.
