Gastronomy is another attraction to the tourist offer of Antequera and it is marked by Vega products, predominantly cereals, olive oil and vegetables. Among the most typical dishes is the "porra", also the garlic soup, and salad gazpachuelo thistle, hunt dishes such as goat grazing or rabbit cortijera, but its fame is mainly due to the baking furnace and the traditional oven and closing convents among the specialties there are "bienmesabe", "torrijas", "mantecados",etc. .. and we cannot forget "el mollete", a white bread crumb of Arab origin, lightly cooked, prepared by hand.
