My experience with Marbesol was over 5***** I booked a diesel car, on the booking I mention that would be good to have a nice comfortable car as need it for a long trip to the north of Portugal and back of course. Got me a lovely sports diesel car, brand new...lovely! On the way back, even got 1omin delayed, just before the office closed, I gave a quick call and explained that I was stuck at the traffic, they were so nice that waited to deliver the car! We have used Marbesol consistently for the past four years. We always choose the all-inclusive option as we don't want the headache of having anything happen to the car and then be charged for it. We also don't like leaving hefty deposits on our credit card so that's another reason we choose all-inclusive. The last reason would be that two drivers are included in the cover which is great. I appreciate you feel as though you are being tricked at the desk if you haven't taken the all-inclusive option, as this happened to us with Marbesol and with a few other companies that have offices based inside the airport. Once we realised that all the car hire companies do exactly the same thing, we knew we wanted to pay the extra upfront to avoid the hassle. Ever since, we have not had a single issue whenever we have hired a car. We even get free upgrades when they aren't too busy.
Since we found this company it is the only one we have been using in all our trips to Málaga. They have always treated us better than correctly, quite fast and with a smile. We always got very nice cars, they looked quite new and in good shape. We never had any problem with any contract with them, so we will keep on using Marbesol's services =)
Fantastic car rental company. Car model as promised and spotless. Lady met us at the airport and directed us to the mini bus . Satnav provided worked well. Transfer from and to the airport efficient. Would recommend getting the fully comp insurance as you don't have to leave a deposit and don't have to pay anything if the car gets damaged. Was quite obvious that the cars in the best condition were given to the fully comp customers. Would use again.
Used these guys last year for the first time and service was great, car was clean and they sorted out some extra days for us without any hassle when our flight was cancelled. Hoping to return this year and and won't hesitate to use them again.
We booked a car for a week in summer 2015 and we were very happy about it. We took the all inclusive package and there was no surprise, no extra charges. The car was new, clean and in good condition. The shuffle to the airport works perfectly even at 5am - only 5 min wait. We plan on booking again this summer. Thanks
I have hired cars from Marbesol at Malaga Airport over the last couple of years and I just keep returning to them, because they represent good value. The prices are always reasonable, the check out and check in process is always quick and very courteous and their cars are always in very good condition. Pick up and return times to the terminal via the courtesy bus is fast and efficient. I find the best value is to take their all inclusive package as this includes full insurance with no consequent concerns and a Full-Full fuel policy which I much prefer to the Full-Empty policy that many car hire companies use.
Transfer from and to the airport perfect, in the office it was very busy, but no long waiting times, the ladies were very efficient. For the first week we drove a Polo, nice car, in perfect condition, for the second week we wanted to change the car for a bigger one, no problem for Marbesol, the car change took 10 minutes and we were on the road again. At the end of the second week we returned the car and just dropped it of with one of the guys in the garage, within two minutes later we were on our way in the Marbesol bus to the airport. Great cars, good price, great service, we will be back !!
We have been using Marbesol for over ten years, a number of times each year. If there are ever any problems they sort them quickly and fairly. They are usually good cars, their prices are good and their service is excellent. I would truly recommend them and have done to many people.
I recently used Marbesol for the 3rd time and I've been delighted with the service on each occasion. Their office is a short hop from the airport and getting there only takes a few minutes. I booked and paid on-line so all the paperwork was already done and I was driving away in no time at all. The cars I've had have all been relatively new with very little mileage, so no complaints there! Overall a good experience...I'll be back!
