Never any hassle. I’ve rented cars probably 20–30 times over the past few years and it works very well every single time. The last few times I’ve rented, I’ve also been pleasantly surprised to see that Marbesol has upgraded its fleet with newer cars (previously I sometimes got slightly older, but fully functional, cars).
Summary: good value for money, friendly service and, perhaps most importantly for me, never any hassle with "discovering" scratches or dents that you are charged for afterwards. Really good :-)
I highly recommend it. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. Very attractive prices, with an all-inclusive package—everything is 100% guaranteed. Collision insurance, a second driver, Gibraltar, etc. The cars are new or nearly new, of course clean. They pick you up by shuttle from the terminal, and within two minutes you're at the car headquarters with your car. After returning the car, they take you back to the terminal. I had a collision in Gibraltar—the bus driver didn't notice me parked and damaged the front of my car (bumper, headlight, etc.). There were no complaints or claims when I returned the car—I was very pleasantly surprised. It's important to fill out the accident report at the scene of the accident, which Marbesol issues with the car. Unfortunately, it's only in Spanish, so you'll need to ask someone for help or request, for example, an English version when you return the car to Marbesol. I will definitely return to this rental company, because I know from experience that they are 100% reliable! Thank you Marbesol!
