If you ever flying to Malaga and you want to rent a car from the airport you go with them ! You only need to book the car online first(something that i didn’t know and i went to the office and ladies working there kindly told me i have to prebook the car before i go there like 4 hours from before-my bad) . Luckily i booked the car i was looking for with them the next day.Very easy going to their office from the airport , there is a shuttle bus of their company waiting for you at the airport -if you have booked the car already- and they drop you off at their office . The same way they drop you off when you have to return the car the last day of rental . NO DEPOSIT if you book the “All Inclusive” option as promised nor any hidden fees . Car fuel policy is full to full . Fast service when picking and returning the car . Thanks to the polite lady that i booked the car with ! Sorry for the long review !
4 years later, i always rent here. Excellent cars and services. Always fast pick up and even faster drop off. Friendly people. I always buy the extra insurance; never ever that i had an accident in 33 years, but it's a peace of mind. I don't get it why people rent from the multinationals or from a broker! I find MARBESOL way cheaper, better service, etc etc. No deposit needed upon reservation, you can cancel up to 48 hour's before. I rent often cars across Europe, they beat every other company i rent from! And, last but not least, after your first reservation, you get an extra bonus from the second reservation onwards, as you become a member. Just login and get the "bonus". Yes people, bring your VISA card with you, debit card is not accepted, just like everywhere. Hellooooo. 😁🤪 Fun fact. Just dropped the car, saw forgotten stuff laying around at drop office, i was laughing at people, how can they forget this...and that...and that. Well, we forgot ourselves a wallet into the car. They called us an hour later. They could've kept it and say nothing. There is a serious amount in it, visa card, etc. My compliments to the staff! ( We would've figure it out eventually anyway, as we used it 5 minutes ago at petrol station, but it's the attention). We got this time a HYUNDAI TUCSON, with just 16.000km's. Few dents but i personally don't care, i don't see them, i sit inside 🙂 ( How did u people manage to damage a new car? Stick to fiat panda, people, if u can't drive big cars).
Fantastic service. From start to finish I could not fault Marbesol. We were met at the airport by and taken to Thier office, the staff were fantastic - the lovely lady who dealt with me was brilliant. I will most definitely use Marbesol on my next visit. Oh the car was fantastic also 👍👍👍
In short: Fast, easy and free of any fuss car rental. I’ve been customer for Marbesol for quite few times in the last five years or so. The ease of reserving a car combined with the actual premium package (incl. additional driver!) without any excess payments makes this service to me a great reliable option. The cars are relatively new, usually a bit scuffed, but clean and in otherwise great condition! Highly recommended! And hot tip: always take the premium package, just for the ease of mind.
We were very happy with the service and the value at Marbesol. The actual car collection office is a 5 minute ride from the airport but this was no problem. The Marbesol rep met us and took us to the collection office. Definitely recommemd
I booked a car 3 months before I went to Malaga. The price was exceptional, 102 euros for 4 days with all inclusive insurance, with free cancelation! Everything went very well. At the airport we met with the representative of the company who found our reservation and directed us to the minibus with which we were transferred to the company's headquarters. There, everything was very organized: I entered the reception when my name was displayed on the screen from the waiting point. The formalities were relatively quick and I made the payment at reservation price - no bad surprise! I received a Renault Clio and I was asked if it was OK for me. The car was in good condition, fairly new, had a mileage of about 30,000 km, very clean. It was compatible with Android Auto, which was very helpful. I drove about 1200 km in 4 days and I had no problem. Droping the car was very simple (just parked the car in the company's garage) and we were transferred to the airport by the company's minibus. It was a very good experience for me and I will definitely rent a car from Marbesol whenever I have the opportunity.
Car quality - I rented Auris AT, the car was in good condition (engine, transmission, AC, car audio, brake), though the outside paint job has some scratches, which is normal for a car rental and will not affect driving comfort and performance. Service - I booked online and got my confirmation within 12 hrs. I went at the office directly (not from their shuttle servixe at the airport since I am from Gibraltar) at 8:30am, as I was scheduled at 9am, there was no line hence I got my car in less than 10 mins. The process is quick and the staff were friendly and English speaking, hence no problem comunicating. After my rental, I returned it 3 days after, at 5am and it was a quick return as well. Just dropped it off and some quick inspection from the personnel and I was good to go. Price - I have compared their price with others and Marbesol has a competitive price, even much cheaper on similar cars. No hidden charges and fees, no deposit or whatsoever. I would likely repeat with them on my next trip and I highly recommend Marbesol.
