When autumn arrives, many people are encouraged to discover the inland villages, further away from the coast. Now it is the turn of the villages of Malaga that are perfect to visit in autumn.

Today from Marbesol we have compiled a list of the most beautiful villages in Malaga to visit now that the weather is cooler. The Costa del Sol receives thousands of visitors throughout the year, but it is in the autumn when many decide to visit its inland villages for its mild temperatures and great heritage.

Archidona

This municipality is located in the Antequera region and is considered a white village. It is 50 kilometres from the capital and has been declared a Historic-Artistic Site since 1980.
There are several places to discover in Archidona but, without a doubt, one of the must-see places is its Plaza Ochavada, you will be surprised by this peculiar square.
It also has a castle located on the hill of the Virgen de Gracia, this monument will be perfect to visit at sunset, as it has a beautiful sunset.
If you like religious monuments, this beautiful village of Malaga has the hermitage of the Virgen de Gracia, the convent of Las Mínimas or the convent of Santo Domingo.

Archidona

Fuengirola
